Christopher & Company are the instructors and creators of the four Sessions in the Certificate Program. The Introduction to Event Planning and The Introduction to Wedding Planning are the first two abreviated 6 week courses. Followed by the Design and Decor class. The final class is the Practical Experience class that can only be administered to students completing the first three. Practical Experience is a combination of instruction and an internship with local businesses in the special event industry. Businesses are selected by the college based on referrals from Christopher & Company.
The variety grows each year covering a list of related occupations. This year we have a large selection of locations including event and wedding planners, rental companies, not-for-profit organizations, expo. planners and specialty market.
