More Wedding Event Coverage

Yesterday, Christopher & Company was part of the audience for the Association of Bridal Consultants, MI monthly meeting. The Royal Park Hotel in Rochester served as our hosts for the evening and our featured guests were recent brides and grooms sitting as our panel guests. They all offered a brief synopsis of their special day. We were taken on the journeys of destination weddings and occasions around the state of Michigan.  Q&A was then offered. What a great platform for all to hear about the challenges and the captured memories surrounding each wedding celebration. We asked about the first vendor secured and the last secured as well as everything in between. The word "budget" was mentioned a few times (of course).

Audience participation was encouraged and the questions were asked and answered with professionalism and insight was recorded by many. The highs and lows were presented. No "mud slinging" was offered, and it didn't appear that there was a lot of "disappointing" factors. The key question that was asked toward the end of the evening catching the most "aha" response came from Ryan Koral, Owner and Producer of Epic Motion, Troy, MI. Panelist were asked if they recorded the wedding rehearsal and events surrounding the rehearsal. Regrettably, they did not make that part of their plans and all felt as though moments were missed and candid speeches and comments were passing memories. The addition of this component would have greatly impacted the treasured moments of the event. Hopefully, for future brides and grooms, consideration will be given to the tasks. Looking forward to videographers pursuing this options and encouraging clients to make it part of their offerings. Thanks, Ryan for posing this question that sparked conversation amongst many.
